EAD received. Now what?

I have the Employment Authorization Document for my wife. Our goals are to issue her a social security number (for work and tax purposes) and a Driver's permit (she still has to learn to drive) or at the very least a state issued ID card. How do I go about doing this? Should I apply for the Social security number first or the Driver's permit first? Any advice from people who have done this is appreciated. Right now the EAD is her only US issued Identification thus far.

fist go to Social security administration to get her SSN. In a couple weeks she would have it. Then with that you can get ID / Driver license.
