Driver's license renewal with I-796C

They said they will have to confirm my status with immigration after which I will receive a mail from them in 7days.

I filled the form for renewal of driver's license at the DPS office and i went along with my expired driver's license, my I-797C, My leasing agreement and utility bills in my name to proof my Texas residency. I am still yet to hear from them tho. I have biometrics appointment next week will definitely go there again after my biometrics if i still haven't heard from them. Thinking of doing a walk in and also apply for an expedite EAD. Wife is preggo and she's the only one working, makes me feel terrible especially sometimes when she can't make it to work.

Current I am OPT until Feb. 1st. Already done Bio on Oct.-1st. Been waiting this long because I just submitted my RFE on 17th-NOV. right now just waiting for decision if they gonna set up a meeting time. So I wondering how I renewal my license and if it is possible to renewal my EDA ( since I have working permition current, should I wait for my new EDA? ) USCIS got my response on 17th-NOV I am still waiting for them. ( but my last day be here 1st-Feb)
For renewal DL, just bring all three I-797C? Thx appreciate

DPS sent me a letter today confirming my status. Headed to their office on Monday to renew my driver license. Yay!

Congratulations !!! Which I-797C receipt you use? ( I have three from: I-130, I-485, I-756, and one from fingerprint ) Thx!

I have 4 I-796C, I went with all of them to the DPS office, the lady took a look at just one of them and said she can't confirm my status but will contact immigration to verify my status after which they will contact me. I received the letter today that they have verified my status from DHS, So i should go to my local DPS office for my driver license.

Yes, I have 4 also. ( I-130, I-175, I-485, and fingerprint form) they are all " I-797C" notice ( it's not I-796C right? ) Thx
