I have a similar situation. I already got mine back, but I am not sure what to do next.
It says I have to start a new application, but I don't know if I can use the same supporting documents and medical exam, or everything has to be new. I went to the immigration doctor today to start a new medical exam, but he wouldn't do it because I didn't bring the rejection letter. The new law says that the medical exam should be sent n within 60 days that had been done. Mine dates back in june. If I have to satart a new I-485, I assume I have to have a new medical exam. I don't know.

It sounds like you need a new medical exam OR you can bring that one to the interview if you feel that USCIS may schedule your interview before it expires.
