Experience for SD office. My husband and I had our interview here back in Sept. 16th after waiting for almost 2 years because I was originally a permanent resident when I applied for AOS but now I'm a citizen. We had an officer who didn't smile and was very serious. He asked for copies of everything submitted and originals of divorce, birth and marriage certificates. Asked for proof of our marriage, I gave him bank statements, lease, car insurance, SDG&E bill and tax statements. The officer asked my husband the questions, how long we were married, where did we meet, where did we go on our first date. He also asked for pics which we gave him. The interview lasted about 20 minutes, at the end he said I will go ahead and submit approval for your green card. We thanked him and left. The green card for my husband arrived 10 days later. Hope this helps.
