I-485 Application to Register Perm Residence - Start to Finish
Hi,
Im posting this in high hopes that my journey will be of help to others. Just as reading from this site has been of help to me.
Applied to change status in Dec 2015, Houston...
Got EAD after 8months! In July 2016...
Got a Request for Initial Evidence in August 2016 for I-864.
No info till december 2016.
Interview scheduled Dec 22 2016.
Interviewed Jan 27 2016, they said they needed to review the files and that they will get back to me if they need more information in 4-6weeks. They never made any +ve of -ve comments about the interview.
I-485 got approved after 3weeks (felt like 3years).
Kindly let me know if you have any questions and do not hesitate to make a service request if your case is outside processing times.
