Good day everyone,
I am d spouse of a US citizen, his income is below d poverty guild line so he mom is going to be the joint sponsor but I need to know if she can, she didn't make enough money in 2014 n 2015 so she didn't file federal income tax but in 2016, she made above the poverty guideline for a household of 2 (me and her)
My question is, can she sponsor me based on the 2016 income alone? Or do they take into consideration 2015 and 2014 as well?
I also have a certificate of deposit back in my country which is equivalent to about $26,000
Should I put it under my joint sponsor so as to boost her income?
