21 05/30/2017 RFE mailed out to me showed on USCIS website (It was for Birth Certificate)
28 06/06/2017 Lawyer Mailed the REF Response Document for RFE

31 06/09/2017 Response of RFE Received by USCIS
84 08/01/2017 Did 1st SR (Lawyer) did online
106 08/23/2017 Did 2nd SR (myself) through Phone
107 08/24/2017 1st SR has been assigned to an Officer for response
113 08/30/2017 Both SR status changed. send response to me and complete. (The 2nd SR was assigned to officer and send response to me in a single day.)
119 09/05/2017 Interview Notice mail received. Interview scheduled on Oct 3rd.
129 09/15/2017 EAD status update to "New card is being produced"
134 09/20/2017 EAD status update to : Card is mailed to me

So you see the fact is, in my case, they send response of SR on the 08/30 and I got interview NOA 5 days later. I never received any so-called SR response mail. So my guess is the interview notice is my SR response. I thought I won't get any EAD card since the interview date is around the corner. However, suddenly on the 09/15, I got 4 text messages said status updated for my EAD, which is it being produced. So I am not sure if the SR do anything with the EAD production or not. But the only thing I am sure is the SR does helped me in my case.

FYI somewhere in this Forum said the EAD is processed by the national benefit center, while the interview scheduling is done by the local field office.

    Hope my experience help.

That is good to know. And yes EADs are covered by the service centers (NBC, Texas, Nebraska and etc.) while I-485 interview are done by the field office from your city.

That's great! It seems like our EAD somehow fall in the same order in their process line. Please let me know when you received your card in hand! Thank you!
Because I am not sure whether my EAD will be mailed to my address or my attorney's office. So your receiving will help me to know the time then i can check with my attorney if I didn't receive the card when you do.

Thanks again! Good luck for your interview scheduling. The time really depends on your local field office. All my best!

Except for I-765, rest ( I-130,I-131,I-485) say "Case was received". I don't know how my lawyer filed it. As far as I know it was a combo card. I don't know how it works for spousal based green card.

How do you check a Service Request's status? Is that different from My Case Status?

If you go to your online case account on uscis.gov and you click on the case that has the service request, scroll down and in the next steps, you will see updates. For example, in my case where I submitted the case inquiry on 9/2, it states that it has not been assigned to anyone yet.

My first SR still states that it has not been assigned yet and I was told in the email to expect a response on 9/24 . Nothing yet. Will wait but in a month, I will submit another case inquiry.

I did a SR online and was suppose to hear something by Sept 14. I never heard anything. How do you check the status of it? However our case did change from ready to be scheduled for interview as of feb 22 to ready to be scheduled for interview as of sept 19 so maybe they are working on it

If you go to uscis.gov and login to see all of your cases, click on I-765 and in the section where it says Next Steps, it shows you the progress on the SR. I was told to wait a month after the date of the expected response from USCIS. Better yet after the month passes, go to your congressman's office and submit another case inquiry. I was told by the assistant at the office that it goes faster.
