Just trying to get an idea. It appears USCIS' processes are pretty inconsistent.
Thanks!

For all the other forms, case received. Yes USCIS is bad on updating their page but I am not surprised since they are backlogged.Forms sent 6/2

Interview but no EAD
Sorry for so many posts but I have a question.
As many of you know my DACA EAD is expiring in January. My interview is 11/8 but I have not heard anything regarding EAD. I called my congressman's office and the rep said that now USCIS has changed things up a bit where instead of doing the EAD and then interview, they go straight to the interview. Now I am all good and happy about my interview notice but what if I do get approved, how long do I wait for the GC to be mailed in? What if I do not get it by the expiration date? Can I work on the conditional GC?
Also for the documents to bring to the interview: should I the beneficiary bring my taxes from the last three years? Obviously my husband needs to bring his but do we also get letters from our employers stating what our salary is and that it is stable?
What about documents that show that we have known each other since 2013? We went to the same college so maybe the Bachelor's diploma?Forms sent 6/2

Congratulations!!!
Hello Walbrzyszanka21,
Congratulations for your interview buddy and was well worth the long wait. Honestly, apart from my EAD, you are one of the few who i prayed it got done quickly!!
Quick question - has the process of interview bwfore EAD changed just for the DACA guys or for everyone?
Good luck for the interview.

how to contact congresman
Originally posted by Walbrzyszanka21 View PostPD is 6/5 (6/6 on I-485), biometrics notice 6/17, biometrics 6/28 (not a walk-in).
Service request 9/2 with anticipated 9/24 response. Did not receive any and the SR was not assigned to anyone.
10/3 walked in to the congressman's office to fill out a privacy release form. I previously contacted them via the website about doing a case inquiry.
I called the congressman's office today and the lady rep, who was very kind, said that she is assigning my case to a rep (I believe she is in the DC office). Fingers crossed that I hear something soon. I really dislike checking the USCIS website and seeing that nothing has changed on any of my cases. So far no EAD or interview. The rep lady said that after the case inquiry, I should go straight to the interview but we will see. It would be great to get the interview but I need certainty that I will get the EAD before January 2018.
How can I contact my congressman and ask him to look into the case.
Please any suggesstion

waiting time 308 days!
Originally posted by Walbrzyszanka21 View PostTell me about it. 115 days here. At least you got your interview notice. If you get accepted on spot then I think won't need the EAD but I am not sure. I don't have neither EAD nor interview date. Consider yourself lucky. Some people even in January got nothing yet.Last edited by cumd; 10-13-2017, 12:29 AM.
