Received 4 texts and emails that my case was received on 6/6/17 at 11:19 PM. Case was received to the USCIS National Benefits Center. Checks were deposited. That seems pretty fast to me since I sent the packet on 6/2 and it was delivered 6/4. Fingers crossed it goes well.

Now is NBC the final destination? Is NBC bad or good? Fast or slow?

Yaaah!! Great news, I haven't receive any text or email yet, I am sure it on it's way. I think the NBC is where the I-130 goes and the I-485 goes to the other fields, at-least that's what I read . However States may differ, I am a Los Angeles Filer, Where are you filing from?

Sorry for the late response but I was out of the state. I am a Chicago filer. I received my receipts in the mail already for all four forms (the main ones). Now I am curious how long it will take until my case will get updated with anything.

Does that mean that I just simply check the receipts to make sure everything is okay or do I check and call them to verify that everything is correct?

If the information in the receipt are all correct then you don't need to do anything. Just wait for the next steps.

I receive my receipts in the mail on Monday, I think the next update will be for your Bio metric appointment, which should be sometime soon and then the long waiting game begins, around 3mths for EAD/AP .

So it has been two weeks since I sent my packet and there is no update. Hopefully next week or the following week I will received some status update.

Received my Biometrics appointment notice through mail today 6/17. I am schedule for 6/28 which is my mother's birthday! And today is my father's birthday!!! Omg!!

Again, I am so excited and happy that the process so far, is going fast.

USPS Tracking

So I have the MyUSPS tracking app and it shows that I have something coming in today. Can it be the signed paper slip for when I sent my packet on 6/2 and was delivered on 6/4? It says the features are Collect on Delivery, Registered Mail and USPS Tracking. Do they send RFEs like that or no?

The app should also show who the shipper is under "Shipped From". I don't believe USCIS send anything via Registered Mail or COD (which means payment is required to get the item)

Well that is the thing, on the app and on the website, it does not show who it shipped from. Just "Arrived at USPS Facility" June 18 and now in transit to destination.

I just submitted my package today also. Many thanks to the OP who posted his/her cover letter! I used it as a template for mine. The package is scheduled to be delivered by 10.30 am tomorrow (I used UPS Express - so expensive but I'd rather have it done that way so I can have peace of mind!). Now I just have to try to be patient haha.
