Hi Guys...

hope someone could answer me. I am confused whether to use I864 EZ or I864... which of these two forms did u use?

also, the form from the uscis website says the forms expired july 2017.. does this date matter?

Pls read i864EZ instructions. There's some conditions you need to meet, and only you yourself know, and it is stated clearly in the instructions.
I think most people just use 864. No harm to use the longer version.

Guys, having read a lot of useful info from this site and here's my timeline for your reference. I'm having my interview tomorrow. Now feel very happy this is coming to an end. My experience told me the online system sucks and just be patient. Don't waste your time in submitting all the SRs. It just takes way longer than normal to get your EAD. It took me four months.

9/18/17: i485 online status change: interview scheduled on October 19
10/5/17: EAD approved (Also submitted SR this day without any info about the approval)
10/10/17: Received in mail about EAD being approved
10/12/17: Received EAD card in mail
10/17/17: i765 online status change telling me the EAD card has been mailed!!
10/19/17: interview day

Hi guys,

This forum has been really helpful to me. I would like to share my experience and to hear your opinion in relation to my case.

I'm still waiting for my EAD card which request was filed 128 days ago. See timeline below:

NSC
I-765 - Category C09

RD: 6/12
Biometrics: 9/13
1st SR: 9/13 (91 days - no response)
Spoke to Congressman: 09/19 (99 days - They said they would helps us, but I haven't heard back from them.)
Sent a letter to Senator: 10/09 (119 days - no response)
2nd SR: 10/13 (123 days - no response)
Spoke to 2 tier office: 10/18 (127 days - he told me that the case is under review and that EADs are taking at least 120 days nowadays and that I should wait)

Is there something else I could do? I'm expecting a job offer and cannot afford to let it pass! How long is it taking for you?

Update:
10/16 I received the approval notice for both I-765 and I-131. Today I get home and I find that my combo card has arrived. At 5:30 p.m. I get a text and an e-mail notification informing me that my case status for I-765 has changed to "Card/Document Production". On USCIS website it says Card was Mailed to Me.

A little out of order hahaha but I am happy to have both the interview notice and my EAD AP combo card in hand. Hang in there folks!!!

Timeline:

Filed 485, 130, 765, 131
PD: 6/16/2017
RFIE received: 7/13/2017 (birth certificate - had already sent copy of original. Attny recommended trying to get a new version from birth city. Did so with parents assistance, and re-sent)
Biometrics complete: 7/14/2017
RFIE response sent: 7/16/2017
RFIE response received: 7/19/2017
Submitted SR for I765: 9/28/17
Case updated, texts received. EAD card being produced. SR request still says unassigned : 9/29/17
Received EAD/AP approval notices by regular USPS mail: 10/5/2017
Received EAD/AP combo card by USPS Priority mail: 10/7/2017
765 and 131 case status updated online to say card mailed and EAD/AP approved: 10/17/2017

10 days after I received the combo card, the online case status changed to say the card was mailed. No update to 485/130 case statuses.

Current EAD extended

So my husband just notified me (since I am still at work) that we received a paper stating that my current EAD has been extended and will expire in October 2018 and not January 2018. I believe this letter came from Georgia but I will double check once I get home.

EDIT: Just got home and I received approval letter for I-765 and I-131. The combo card is on the way (whether it is a combo card or not it is ok)

i will advise u go see your county congressperson ASAP.

that what i did, i marked 120 days and immediately i went there, i received my EAD within one week.

Believe me I know. But once you get your EAD or interview, then the long wait is for the interview date haha
