Hello everyone,
I must confess that I used to read the posts here and think to myself: Wow, these people are so stressed out...they should relax...Now you guys should be saying that to me!
This is my timeline and then some explanation:
Priority date: 202/24/16
Concurrently Filing: I-140 (received on 10/05/16) and I-485 (received on 10/14/15);
Biometrics : done on 11/22/17
I-140 approval (regular processing): 05/25/17
Request for Evidence for I-485 (Gonorrhea test): 06/30/17
Request for Evidence received by USCIS: 07/06/17.
Until now, nothing (and the deadline of 60 days they gave will be on Monday, 09/04, and only then I will be able to open a request). The worst part about it is that I didn't apply for the Advance Parole because everybody told me that my application would not take longer than 10 months. I have an emergency trip coming up and I will probably not be able to go, since I only applied for the Advance Parole in the beginning of August, 2017).
I have seen other person with the exact timeline as mine, and that made me feel less bad, but is anybody else experiencing this delay? Any info will help.
I am just as stressed out as the people I saw on this forum before (if not more) and I appreciate any sharing that may help me sleep at night.
