Received letter today that EAD/AP has been approved!!! Hopefully we get the card this week.

Exactly 90 days.
Online SR on day 76.

Yes that is the idea and would be nice but seems like this forum live in anarchy with no MODS whatsoever. I dont like it either but what can you do

In order to expedite you need to have a legitimate reason, like say a job offer or financial issues. I submitted a case inquiry on my 89th day. Never heard a reply. Went to the Congressman's office and asked them for help. Not sure if it helped but the day that the office assigned my case to someone, I received my interview notice and that was 10/10. My PD is 6/6 for I-485. I received my EAD and AP 10/17. Sometimes being too proactive can make things worse since there are thousands of people who are waiting just like you are. Also, keep in mind that people from 2016 and even 2015 haven't gotten an update, so be patient.

I know where you are at. I have been there. Frustrated and inpatient. But in the end, it worked out. For some the process goes by fast and for others it goes by very slow.

Ok. Thank you. I just felt now should be the best time to get the EAD since many September applicants got it, also this time of the year can also be a good time to get employed. I will keep applying for jobs, and probably wait till Monday before I contact congressman.

I found out that the processing time has been updated without and back dated to July 1 for EAD/AP applications. My application has been pending for 80 days now. No update, no mail, no response to SR, and level 2 officer could only ask me to wait till end of the month. I am thinking perhaps I am not proactive enough, as people expedite and contact congressmen to help them fasten their applications. Do I need to wait 90 days before contacting congressman, or I can go ahead as at 80 days of pending.

Okay..I think the approval is done randomly depending on the officer in charge of your file

Here is my timeline to help you out. It does not appear that my case "reset" to the date that my RFE response was received.

August 7th 2017 - I-130, I-485 and I-765 sent to USCIS (Chicago Lockbox)
August 8th 2017 - Delivery via Fedex
August 14th 2017 - E-notification of receipt of all applications, checks cashed
August 21st 2017 - Mail receipt received for all applications (PD of Aug 8th 2017)
August 25th 2017 - Biometrics appointment notice received in mail
September 5th 2017 - Biometrics completed
September 9th 2017 - Request for Initial Evidence received in mail (regarding form I-864 as part of I-485)
October 4th 2017 - RFIE documents sent (Lee Summit, MO)
October 5th 2017 - Delivered via Fedex
October 6th 2017 - RFIE "received" and under review by USCIS (although this wasn't update online until Oct 18th)
October 18th 2017 - Case ready to be scheduled for an interview (although this wasn't updated online until Oct 20th)
October 23rd 2017 - Put a service request in over the phone for my 765/EAD application (77th day from original PD)
November 1st 2017 - New EAD card in production
November 2nd 2017 - Interview scheduled for December 12th 2017

dis timeline gave me hope...because of my RFIE...i give praises to God

Yes depending when you filed in september. I filed at the beginning. But if you filed towards the end then you might hear now mid december...

10/7- NOA in the mail
10/23- Biometrics
10/25- Request for initial evidence (apparently they can't find our copy of marriage cert, which I'm 101% sure it was in the package as I've made a photocopy of every single papers sent)
11/1- Mailed them back the said request of paper
11/03- Paper received by USCIS

No word, letters yet. Prayerfully and hoping for my EAP at least to come this month so I can drive and work.

Yes you should also raise SR for EAD if you already can
