Welcome, don’t think too much about it. Just prepare everything you need to your interview and all will be good!

Being notified that you are ready to be scheduled for an interview does not always mean that you will get the interview notice soon. I have read some posts on this forum where people have been ready to be scheduled for an interview for 8 months.

The EAD processing time is 75-90 days. In my case I got it on day 144th. Almost 5 months. The interview notice I received 137th day. Just be patient, there are people who are from the Pay thread and they haven't gotten their EAD nor their interview notices. It all depends. No logarithm for this process.

          • Based on what I have read on here and the experiences I've had talking to the people at the immigration offices, I have very low expectations and my patience is prepared for the long haul. The encouraging part was just knowing that at least one important step in the process was made. It's easier to be patient with the Adjustment of Status. It's harder being patient waiting on the EAD, that's for sure.

Yup, that’s why i said “Maybe” and the fact that they updated their status into “ready for the interview to be schedule” means they application is being process or there’s someone there that is working on their part. What i mean is that unlike anybody, they’re lucky to be in their situation. let’s all think positive, mine is just encouragement, kind of cheerful words. 😊😊😊

No I understand but we also can't get too impatient and want this to be over within 2 months.

Did you ask to expedite your EAD in that Service Request? If so, did they send you a combo card for EAD and Advance Parole, or just EAD? Please tell us more if you would.

NO I DID NOT ASK TO EXPEDITE THE EAD. MY EAD WAS PENDING FOR ABOUT 90 DAYS. AND I DIDNT APPLY FOR ADVANCE PAROLE
