They updated the SR that I had open still from months ago that they completed it now and case status updated to Interview is scheduled. So I guess they do update it ocassionally

Congrats! OMG just saw a big jump for the processing time in Phoenix office, it is 8.5 to 18 moths now. Hopefully I will get scheduled soon.

Hey! I'm a British Citizen married to a Floridian (living in FL).

The latest status of my case is that my interview is being scheduled (updated on November 2017)..

Still haven't heard a thing since then. Does any one know how long this could take?
I managed to speak to someone today who said the processing time is now 8 - 19 months?! Please tell me this isn't true D:
I want to visit my family in the UK and can't right now without filing for another form and paying a fee for that. Crazy!

"Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" does not mean that your interview is being scheduled. Talking to a level 1 rep is the same as looking at your case status online. They have access to basic stuff. You could say they're are there for those who do not have access to a computer or internet.

If you filed the I-485 and I-130, then the EAD/AP applications are free. If you are renewing, that's also free.

Than I checked later today when I saw people taking about changes and saw the big jump! Hopefully we both get our interviews scheduled real soon! Good luck!

Yes! My office (Orlando) went from 14-26 months down to 8-22 months. I had a 1 month delay with a RFIE so hopefully here some good news in the coming weeks/month

Interview letter

Hello everybody!

I'd like to thank everyone for contributing to this forum, since it's been incredibly helpful. I'm filing from Chicago and just received an interview letter in the mail today for August 8.

Here's my timeline:
PD: 9/6/2017 (Marriage-based to USC spouse, concurrently filed I-130, I-131, I-485, I-765, I-864, I-693, current status: H1B)
10/3/2017: Appointment for biometrics (walked in on an earlier date because I was out of town on the allotted date)
12/7/2017: I-131 / I-765 approved (received combo card shortly thereafter)
7/9/2018: Notice to appear for initial interview on August 8 (haven't received any text / e-mail / online updates yet)

It's a step forward, though! The update you got is not always sent because cases just jump from being "ready to schedule" to "interview scheduled".

The wait for NYC is 12.5-24 months, I heard that there is a unusual backlog because of something?s about citizenship, but they will change their focus soon.
This wait is so stressful.

Looks like the processing times have increased at our local field office also, santa ana, ca.

This is really getting depressing.

went to field office a week ago to follow up if they had any information on our case and they basically told us to keep waiting, case processing times have increased to 11-23.5 months.

We never filed for the EAD and travel permit so going to do that now....

Processing time in Atlanta Office

Any Atlanta applicant got interview call?

I need a suggestion about address change!

I moved to Detroit because of job (German automotive experience brought me to Detroit ) but my wife is gonna move in December here from Atlanta as she is pregnant. I am travelling back to Atlanta after 2 weeks. So I haven't changed my address as my wife is still there. I got my EAD in January 12th, 2018. Since AOS interview is taking more time so I am going to file Renewal application for EAD. So do I go for address change first then send EAD renewal or stick to my Atlanta address? Change of Address would cause any delay in process time?

What time is better to send renewal application? I am thinking to send right after labor day.

My PD is September 19th, 2017 and got RFIE. Online status hasn't been changed since October 26th, 2017 that they had received response of RFIE.

This is good news, thank god NYC is moving my pd date is August 17, 2017 and no interview notice yet. Don?t know what is going on with our case. I have no RFE or RFIE, EAD was pretty smooth so I don?t know why the interview being complicated.
