My journey is over today .I received my Green card today.NYC Filer
(c9) AOS: PD : 09/11/2017 ; (Married to a US citizen)
10/04/17- Bio Walk-in
12/08/17 Received EAD
08/13/18 Received Interview notice
09/20/18 Interview Date (IO approved it in the spot) @ Federal Plaza of NYC
09/24/ 18 Received text message and mail from USCIS that my case approved
09/26/18 Received message and online status changed " Card is being Produced"
09/27/18 Received message and text " Card was mailed"
09/29/18 I received my Green Card

My journey is over
My timeline. 13 months. The end after the interview went extremely fast I thought, amazed , how quickly it progressed. Approved on the spot, our IO told us, hes approving us and we would get our card 2-3weeks , but really it was just days!! Which is amazing! I an over all happy with all of the conmunications with USCIS, i got every receipt and update fast. What i didnt include in my timeline is applying for renewal of my EAD, which we sent before we received our interview letter. They sent me a receipt letter of my renewal application, than they sent a letter, informing me, i didnt need biometrics again, that they were gonna use my previously collected fingerprints. Turns out, I wont need the EAD anyway, because I should have my GC by mon 29th.
Other than the long wait , thanks to some glitch at the Atlanta field office (they processed 2018 cases before 2017), it was a smooth process, no lawyer involved, no RFE, all receipts came fast , never called USCIS about my case.

✔️ 9/7/17 sent my I 485 I 765
✔️ 9/11/17 got signed for By Chyba in Chicago
✔️ 9/21/17 received 2 Notices of receipts along with Biometrics appoinment letter (3 envelopes total)
✔️10/6/17 completed biometrics appoinment
✔️10/13/17 received "notice to applicant" letter informing me , to bring my medical form to my interview or wait for "req. for ev."
✔️10/18/17 my online status changed from "we accepted your fingerprint fee" to "we are ready to schedule your case for an interview, we will send you a letter with interview date"
✔️11/17/17 got approved for employment authorization
✔️11/25/17 received approval notice and EAD card in the mail. ( my I 765 status online never updated , it is still on ?case received?
✔️9/14/18 we scheduled an interview for form I -485
✔️9/19/18 received interview letter
✔️10/23/18 interview 8am
✔️10/23/18 online status changed 2 hours after the interview to ?new card is being produced? we ordered your card
✔️10/25/18 status online changed to ?new card was mailed?
✔️10/27/18 online status changed to ?card was picked up by UPS?

Congrats! 15 months 27 days from PD till interview date. That?s a long time. Shoot for an approval on the spot.
