  • I-693 Medical Examination has expired

Good day! I hope this message finds everyone fine.

My question is that, should I repeat the medical examination if it has expired by the time the interview happens?

    Thanks in advance.

From previous posts, yes re-do the exam. I know it is definitely not financially beneficial at all but I am sure they would want another medical exam that was performed no more than one year.

Yes you have to redo it. i-693 MUST be VALID at time of approval. To save your self time and money, use same civil surgeon you previously used, they may charge you less. I would wait until interview is scheduled to redo it

No you do not need to send it with i-130/i-485.

In fact USCIS recommends you hold off on doing the medical exam until your interview is scheduled. Since AOS seems to be taking longer and longer you are better off waiting or you might end up paying twice if your medical expires before the interview.
