I promised to come back after my interview with an update. My interview was today, September 19th 2107 at 12noon. Got there at 11:45am and waited till 1:45pm before getting called in. The interviewing officer was a lady. She just asked us how we met and pretty much asked for our documents, of which she was grateful that we already had copies, and by such, saved her some work. That was it. Within 3-4 mins, she had asked that only major question, took our documents and told us what to do after 2 year, a verbal approval indication. Within the next 2 mins, she would stamp our papers for approval. Basically, it took like 5 or less minutes from the time we walked inside the office to the time of stamping out papers for approval. We stayed for 20 mins, all while chatting. I got my passport stamped and she updated the website while we were there and told me to expect my GC within the next 10days. That was it. That's how I got my on- spot approval.
