Ok. I know the feeling. I have been waiting for over four months too. When I checked Long Island field office processing times on the website, it states that they're processing I-485 with PD 04/02/17. I don't understand why the link didn't work. But try this one. Then click on the Inquiry (which is under related tools at the bottom of the page). Go into field offices and scroll to Long Island. Good luck to your cousin, hopefully we get some updates soon.

Wait.. so you from what I can tell have been here illegally for 11+ years, and think that because you are volunteering at the salvation army, and other such places means that you're making up for being here illegally. And at the same time you are getting mad at someone who is calling you out on here because of the fact you as an apparent illegal immigrant are accusing illegal immigrants of clogging the system, and bashing the person calling you out by calling said person a democrat?!?! First off leave politics out of it. Second of all it's really unkind to blame the slowness of the immigration system on those who are in the same situation as you. just give everything time like everyone else is having to do. you'll get your turn just like everyone else and stop pointing blame towards those who have done the same thing as you.... also volunteerism doesn't make up for overstaying your visa, and you should be thanking those of the left persuasion for helping you be able to stay during the AOS process.

I'm sorry, but you don't make up for it at all, you are willingly breaking the law.
Yeah, you know why they told you no... because youre ILLEGAL. You obviously dont understand politics either, cause thinking I'm a democratic. . Lmao.
People like the veterans arent getting the help they need because 1 amongst many other reasons unfortunately because the government is using way to mucb money on ILLEGALS, so you being here are part of the problem.
Ewilliams please tell your spouse thank you from me to him for risking his life for this country and all of us who are unable to do so as well as everyone in this country. He has my Respect and gratefulness.

Hey
I appreciate your answer. I'm interested for my cousin that filed everything in October, I think it's been more than four months and no EAD yet or letter for interview. The link that you sent I can't open.

[QUOTE=Jcanqueen;556797]When you say you filed to chicago office, i hope you're not referring to the Chicago Lockbox where most concurrent i-130 and i-485 applications are sent. In which state do you live? Where did you do your biometrics? Because often times it is where you did your biometrics your interview will be scheduled.
Reason i'm asking because a lot of people confuse the Lockbox, National Benefits Center and the field offices(where interviews are conducted/scheduled). It's the field office processing times you should be following in relation to the interview. And yes I'm worried about that too, I read instances where moving for some lengthened when you would receive an interview notice and at the same time shortened it for some people. It depends on where you move to.

You are right, that is exactly what I was thinking - Chicago lockbox... We live in Knoxville, TN. I had my biometrics done in Nashville, TN. My interview should take place in Memphis, TN.
We are dreaming about moving to sunny California =)

[QUOTE=waiting&praying;556894]Originally posted by Amanda2 View PostIs anyone filling from Long Island,NY? How long it take to get the EAD? How about the letter for the interview?
The EAD is case by case, some people receive it less than 90 days. The interview depends on the field office in Long Island. Check out this link..

I am usually fine with waiting, but we wanted to move to another state and I have a feeling it can mess up my Green Card process =/
