You are right, that is exactly what I was thinking - Chicago lockbox... We live in Knoxville, TN. I had my biometrics done in Nashville, TN. My interview should take place in Memphis, TN.
We are dreaming about moving to sunny California =)

Thank you for your reply! I have filed to Chicago office, but am guessing it could be reassigned to another office. I will double-check this information on the receipt notice once I get home.
I am usually fine with waiting, but we wanted to move to another state and I have a feeling it can mess up my Green Card process =/

Where did you do your biometrics? Because often times it is where you did your biometrics your interview will be scheduled.

I just look at the processing times for the field offices in North Carolina as well as filers' journeys from North Carolina on this forum. Especially with Raleigh field office, they get interview notices pretty quickly. I also have a friend from that area that had gotten her green card in less than six months.
