  • Processing in the NBC / MSC ??

    Hi Everyone,

I am on H1B now but applied my Green card through my Spouse .
    Receipt date : 10/17/2017
    Bio : 11/08
Status shows : Our National Benefits Center location is working on your case

have a very difficult situation here ,
    1. My job is in Ar
    2. Husband and house in Houston
    3. Have a baby with whom we have to travel almost every weekend for 10hrs (as flight fares are superbly high)
    4. cant leave my job as i will be out of status

    Question:
    1. What is the processing speed of MSC ? some says it is faster ?
    2. Is there anyone in the MSC in C9 category can share their experience

    Thanks

    1. Figuring out timelines for USCIS is more difficult than reading tea leaves.
    2. You can leave your job. Yes you would lose your H1-B status but you would not accrue unlawful presence. As the spouse of a USC you dont need to be instatus to adjust.

      ..

it is different for everyone, Nobody exactly know long long will it take. However, you can submit service request after 75 days. I did service request after 75 days and got approved by the 85th day.
