Hello to everyone, i have some questions if you could help me. my brother is an American citizen and i am a registered nurse in my country (Greece) and i am trying to get license in PA. i am currently in USA and my husband is in Greece. i was wondering if i can apply for adjustment of status with i-485, (i currently have b1/b2 visa)? and if yes how much time does require to get an answer? could i stay here until an answer is made? can my husband travel apply from Greece or he can travel to stay here? thank you for your time.

So if your brother files the I-130 now, you will not be able to proceed to the next step until 13+ years later, at which point you are unlikely to be in the US, so you will probably do Consular Processing. If you happen to be in the US and in status at that time, you could do Adjustment of Status.
This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice.

The priority date is when the I-130 is filed. Siblings of US citizens are in the F4 category. Visa numbers for F4 category are currently only available for priority dates about 13.5 years ago (longer for people born in India, Mexico, or the Philippines).

thank you so much for your response. i was wondering if i could stay with a nursery job or if i could adjust my b1/b2 to f1. but the problem is that i have already filled an i130 and they accept me but it would take so many years and now i have shown my intention to immigrate.

As a registered nurse, you might be able to immigrate on work related visa. You can do a google search for immigration as a nurse to the US. There are recruitment firms and hospitals that will need to sponsor you. You have to take and pass some exams and interviews. But i also think you will have to return to your home country to this.
