hi everyone,please is there any august filer in California/Los Angeles that has gotten their EAD?still haven't gotten mine,and its starting to piss me off,i keep calling USCIS and they keep telling me the same thing(everything is ok,give us 10 more days and call back)

Bonjour, mon ami! I am also from Los Angeles. PD is 08/08. Yesterday, I tried to get transferred to a tier 2 representative. But the tier 1 lady didn't want to transfer me. She eventually said a tier 2 person will call me back (in a few days!). To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if they never call me back. So I've sent an email to my senator and I might call their office just to talk to someone in person. I suggest doing the same. I know a good number of August filers who have not received anything (no EAD/AP, no interview update). We're not alone but it's getting ridiculous. I don't think it's worth it to keep calling USCIS. They don't seem like they're in a very giving mood in terms of information.

Filed EAD with AOS. PD is 08/30/17 and have not received it yet. I did an SR on day 120 and the response was we are reviewing your case, your case is in the normal processing times. SO we did an InfoPass appointment at local USCIS office (Phoenix), the immigration official there said EAD's are taking about 7 months now. Some people get lucky and get a processing agent who is quick and might only be 3-4 months for them, but most people will be waiting much longer. Nothing you can really do, contacting congressman really wont help either since there is nothing they can do to speed this up, it is just a matter of getting applications processed.

thanks a lot,i just talk to a level 2 officer,she was able to explain better,she said it takes 6 months now to get EAD,she said I should expect it next month(which will be 6 months)

i just talk to a level 2 officer,she was able to explain better,she said it takes 6 months now to get EAD,she said I should expect it next month(which will be 6 months),I was so mad when I called,i told the level 1 officer that I am sick and tired of hearing the same stuff over and over,and told her to connect me with a senior officer,i was on hold for an hour and ten mins before they connected me to a level two officer

Hi everyone! I am August filer and I got an online update on 01/11 that my EAD card has been ordered and will be mailed to my address.
My PD is 08/21

Well at least that's SOME information. It just gets a little alarming when there are NO updates at all. My I-485 has been stuck at "Fingerprint fee received" since August! Anyways, we'll just have to keep waiting. At this point though, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if a good portion of us just get green cards without ever receiving the EAD. There's no point in having the EAD if we get the interview super quickly after that.

I wouldnt mind getting my EAD even if its just for a week. The point is you're able to contribute in society and not feel useless.But that's my personal opinion

My cases have not moved since end of November although a couple of SRs were updated on 12/22. Parents are set to travel back on AP to take care of some stuff in their home country later in March. Hope to get some updates before they leave.

Hi from Los Angeles! My PD is 08/09, and still waiting for EAD, no news on the interview, and I never got an answer in the past 3 SR, waiting 10 more days until the 4th SR is due. Already contacted congresswoman, they told me to wait for 30 days to get an answer ( it's been 34 days since) and they didn't answer.... Let's Hope for the best! Good luck on your journey...
