Thank you. I just got a notification that the card was mailed to me. Will see if I can log on USCIS and get a tracking number.

Who said the hiring process takes 1-2 months? I'm looking for a job. Sent out numerous applications.
After biometrics I didn't receive interview letter until 2 months after.

Unfortunately, I soon realized that EAD is limited to employment. Some job openings prefer GC holders or USC. I guess this whole immigration situation wouldn't end until I get my citizenship. Right now I'm up for an interview for 911 operator but I know I wouldn't get it cuz I saw on their website the applicant must be a USC. Sigh

Our Marriage based AOS from F-1 PD is January 3rd 2018. No RFEs, interview has been ready to be scheduled since February. We got the EAD card about 6 months after filing. We just filed for Advanced parole a few weeks ago due to how long it seems this journey will be.

We should all go hit up a bar in midtown. It would the AOS meetup group LOL.

Best of luck everyone and congrats Kaylip! You're a lucky one

                  Welp

Had the interview today. Turns out they ARE strict about the medical exam. It has to be within a year of your package arriving. Ours arrived July 18, 2017, interview July 19, 2018. They?re making us retake the medical exam. I cannot believe it. I?m very pissed off. After waiting a year because of them, we have to wait longer and spend more money.

That sucks that you have to spend more money on their faults.
How did the interview go otherwise? Who was the interviewing officer?

We submitted our concurrent application on the same date July 18, 2017. Our interview is July 31, 2018. I made sure I redid medical and will take the sealed envelope with us to the interview. Find a cheap civil surgeon from USCIS. Take record of previously taken vaccines to them. All the best

Hey Kaylip. I have a question for you. Did you have difficulty in getting your EAD from the USPS. Not sure it was you or someone else from ATLanta. It seems they can?t find my EAD. And informed delivery never scanned the priority mail from USCIS to let me know I was receiving it on the day I was to receive it. Relied on tracking number but seems all is in vail. Just finished talking to USPC and they have opened a case on it to inviatigage. It is so frustrating.

It was fine, she said she believed the marriage was legitimate, mainly just asked questions from the petitions. Asked my wife?s parents names, asked each of us each other?s birthdays, etc. nothing that wasn?t on the tip of my mind

No. never changed addresses. I got the 765 approval notice in the mail just last Friday. I called USPS just now and the lady told me they should have delivered it and left it in the mailbox since it?s not a certified mail. The message when I track it simply says ?attempted delivery. No access to delivery location?. Did you find your EAD or GC in the mailbox or you had to go pick it up??
