The I-485 instructions pdf on the USCIS website has specifics on what to present if you were arrested, charged, if dismissed, etc. Page 13/42 and a couple of lines on page 14. Follow that to the T. Otherwise, you may get incomplete or outdated information on what to do.Originally posted by Cadiazv View PostHello everyone i need some help getting ready for my interview thru AOS marriage PD date was june 12/2017 i been married since 2015 with a us citizen i haven?t changed my last name (i know its been almost3 years ) but if I changed it before my interview is it gonna affecte anything? I would wait on the name change until you become a citizen. Doing it now or not has no bearing on your being approved for a green card or not. You are going for the 10-year Green Card anyhow since you will have been married for longer than two years by the time your case is adjudicated. You passed that test.Originally posted by Cadiazv View PostHello everyone i need some help getting ready for my interview thru AOS marriage PD date was june 12/2017 i been married since 2015 with a us citizen i haven?t changed my last name (i know its been almost3 years ) but if I changed it before my interview is it gonna affecte anything? I would wait mostly because you get that one for free and it's no questions asked. You don't have to see a judge. You don't have to see a judge. You can change your entire name -first, middle, first last name, second last name, suffix- to whatever you like.
Best of luck!
