          • I literally have the worst luck

Hey guys, so I finally got a hold of the level 2 officer and boy was I disappointed. She told me that my applications are still pending (i-485 and i-765)... so technically noone has touched my cases yet. And she told me to keep on waiting.
I've been waiting since Feb 12, and it sucks to know that I waited this long only to find out that noone even touched my case yet. Noone's even working on my EAD. What is the Buffalo office doing for crying out loud?!
How much longer can a person wait? Starting to lose faith in this... if after all these months of waiting, they send me an RFE out of the blue, I will be so pissed.
I dont know what else to do. I mean i can't contact the ombudsman just yet, right?

I?m from Boston too. My PD is 2/28/2018. Biometric is 3/27/2018. My 485 status changed to ? we are ready to schedule an interview for you?.
Congratulations! That's really exciting news. Mine still shows "user-defined error" unfortunately. I called several times (level 1 officer) and had been told that my I-485 is still in the National Benefit Center under background review and has not even been transferred to the local Boston field office yet... I am feeling so anxious waiting since it's been 107 days since my PD (2/5/2018).

On the other hand, last week (5/17/2018) I called level 1 officer to request for expediting my I-765 case (for EAD card) and got a confirmation #. Nothing has happened yet. No update so far... crossing my fingers coz my current EAD (from F-1 visa) is about to expire in two months and I'm working a full-time job now.

Would really appreciate if anyone else filed the same type of family-based I-130, I-485, I-765 could share their timeline/case status!

                Best,

Mine is marriage based AOS filing from ATlanta.

                  PD date 2/22/2018
On 4/18 status changed for i485 to a blank page. Called Uscis and has to speak with level 2 officer the next day who told me my current status is ?case is ready to be scheduled for interview?. Status for i765 is still at ?fingerprints received and case is being processed?. I?m 90 days in bow.

Call USCIS back and ask to speak to level 2 officer. They tend to have more info than level 1 officer.

                  • Day 92

Today marks day 92. PD 2/20/2018. Received my EAD but patiently waiting on my green card interview. Just ready to get it all over with. Started my first job with my EAD on Monday. Process went through smoothly. Not too many questions asked. Guess I was issued my EAD because the grenn card interview is going to take a while.

How long is your EAD valid for? You are the one that had to expedite it right due to job offer right? Congratulations on starting your new job. I hope it will be the same for me too. Tired of sitting at home. 😩

@aria347509: I'm coffee fish's aforementioned husband. Can you please share more details? Were you filing concurrently? Did you also file I-765 and if so did you receive your EAD card?

                        Thanks

                            • Hi all,

I had my interview on May 14 and the officer told me that we would get an answer about our case on Friday, May 18th but we have not heard anything. I have not received my EAD card either. My problem is that my OPT expires June 14th and I will most definitely lose my job. Can anyone advise me on what I can do? I have tried expediting my EAD card with no success. And I have also tried raising an SR about it but have not gotten a response. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

                              Thank you for your help.

Yes I did file concurrently and my case did go through National Benefits Center.
