But I haven't got any decision on I-130 yet. What's the next step usually?

Am I supposed to get I-130 approval first or will I directly get the interview?
Hi, my I-130 was approved the day of my interview.

Yea. they should contact you if there is a problem or you can call them. Do you have the IRS2Go app? you can check the status there.

Preparing Documents for I-130 and I-485

    Hi Guys,

I am so amazed to see the mutual help shown in this forum .

I am on H1B Visa and working and is in US from 2014.
I am married now to a USC.

We are planning to do the paperwork ourself.

Concurrent filing: How to do it.
Do we need to send the i-130, i-130a , i-485 and i-485supa all in a single packet ?

Or we need to file i-130, i 130a and wait for the receipt and then file the i-485.

    Thanks a lot

Since you guys filed on February 2018, For the three most recent tax years, did you guys submit 2017,2016 and 2015? Or 2016,2015 and 2014? Please help. We have been working on this for 3 months now and almost ready to submit but the case is we havent filed our 2018 taxes.
We did our 2017 taxes right before filing, so 2015, 2016, 2017.

    Three most recent tax years

Thank you so much for the answer. But in form I-864 part 6 item 24a 24b and 24c, you will answer there the total income for the three most recent years. What years did you state?

We only submitted one year Tax return of year 2016. Our AOS was submitted in Feb 2018. Never got an RFE. We?ll be filing 2018 tax return right before our interview on Feb 14 to take with us. You do not need to submit all three year tax returns but just one latest one. If you have all three then you can if you want to.

It was definitely a little scary but we made it through. When you're doing everything right there's no need to worry Good luck with your interview.
