    Day 90 Update

Yesterday, letter confirming the interview arrived. My interview is scheduled for 6/20. All my other 3 cases ( I-130, I-131 and I-765) are still showing Case Is Received. From what I have been reading around the forum, USCIS is scheduling GC interviews even before issuing any EADs since there is already a big backlog to clear for EADs. Wishing everyone the best in their journey.

It takes about 2 weeks for my case. I have heard people got response within 1 week.

I've said "well, I keep getting conflicting answers from level 1 representatives. At this point, I must hear it from a level 2".

Add any sugarcoat as needed. Never lose your cool with them. I find that an assertive but soft spoken approach works best.

Okay, so I first attempted to raise an SR for my i-485 on April 30th, but the system didnt go through cause it said that my i-485 is still within normal processing time. So i decided to wait. This morning I got annoyed and raised an SR for my i-485, i chose the 'didn't receive a notice' option (eventho i havent gotten any updates online about my case since my biometrics which is in march) and it said there on the 'case tracker' app that my 'inquiry about a notice for this application i-485 is being assigned to an officer for a response'. So I hope that kinda did the trick to get them to look at my case and freakin' give me an update already. I've been waiting since February for an update and I dont know why I haven't gotten any. Not even an update on my i-765.

    Filing for I-485

    Hello,
I have my 1-140 approved in Aug 2017. Was wondering if i can apply for I-485? If yes, how much times does it take?

    Thanks

What do I do? What are the reasons that you guys gave to get the level 1 rep to transfer you?

    PD : 02/12/2018
    Buffalo, NY office
    Biometrics: 03/13/2018
Since then no updates (online and mail)
    SR for i-765 : 04/30/2018

    Still no updates.
Call again and ask to speak to a level 2 officer. Once transferred you will be prompted to request level 2 officer to call you back. That?s what I did and level officer called me back in an hour. Not sure why your case has no updates. My Pd is 2/22 and my case status is ready to be scheduled for interview.

Or how many times has my mail carrier misplaced our mailpieces (credit card offers) in our neighbors' mailboxes?
We all know how it goes with these mails and the sensitivity of these cases. We just need to stay up and keep up with things

Why do you think the USPS return the notice and not deliver it to address what?s the cause for that?

    - - - Updated - - -

USCIS started mailing secure documents with a signature requirement upon delivery. There was an update about that on April 27th. It started sometimes before that. It?s a good thing. At one point too many people were not getting their notices. At least this way, you?ll know something is up through one of your accounts IF those update, of course.

If they reject the expidite, does it affect our I-765 case?
