    I need a quick help here.
    my friend intends to file I 485 base on marriage to a US citizen, but he had over stay his B2 visa for like two months now. question 24 ask about " what is your current immigration status?" what is the best answer please @uscitizenfillingforspouse and others

    The EAD and AP, by definition, is supposed to let you able to work and travel while the long wait of your gc. It is to make up the mistake that USCIS being way too slow on processing AOS. Now they are also slow on the EAD and AP. I really don't know what else of excuse they have now. I paid for the thousand dollar application fee. I should get some kind of progress.

    Oh ok. I?m guessing it?s because you hadn?t reached the 90 days processing time when you requested for the EAD to be expedited and they probably felt that you were not in severe need for the EAD.

    Yes. I think you can file for AP even after you have received your EAD. Not sure though.

    You have to have an Advance Parole to travel out of country while your application is pending. You can?t travel with just an EAD alone.

    I can?t because i am working already. I said i dont want any gap of my job because my current ead with F1 visa expires soon in a month. You could try with the job offer. Goodluck to you.
