Today I discovered a way to create a seperate myUSCIS account with a lot more information on all my cases reflecting every single step from the interview to the shipment of the Green Card.
Just register for a free account here: https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ and select "Add a paper-filed case" after setting up your account.
Now enter your receipt numbers, e.g. MSC1234567890 and see a much more detailed case status. This should be especially handy for people waiting for their approval or the green card after the interview.
This account will also allow you to eventually extend your green card via form I-90 after 10 years (if it's already unconditional) or to file for Naturalization after 3 year minus 90 days if your green card is based on marriage and if you are married for at least 3 years.
May I ask has your case status on the website USCIS been updated? did it affect to your I-485 processing time? I'm in the same boat so your experience would be very appreciated.
Thanks

my case stats shows RFE sent on September 26 and we won’t take action on your case until you submit the evidence ....few days ago by mail instead of getting rfe paper I got approval notice and case sent to NVC
I am confused now what should I do ?Last edited by Ziad Baasiri; 10-14-2019, 01:14 PM.

Do you know a website to know when to receive a card?

I want to ask if there is a way to know when the green card will be received.

Please I need urgent assistance. I missed interview on 4th of may because we dis not get the notice. On 6th we were rescheduled. Later in the month we received a mail to update address. We completed the form and was submitted. Following my case history I read how it was referred to an officer and it was completed on 29th of may. All along my status was still showing we missed interview and notice would be mailed. On 31st it turn to denied notice. BUT on 1st of June case history showed interview rescheduled. What do I do?

For me status of i485 is older than it appears on other site. My interview was done at Nashville TN on 13th Dec 2018, but status still shows "interview was schedule" not sure why those are not updating. i checked with my attorney and he suggested,
[B]"You have two basic options at this point. You can either continue to wait, given that there has been no negative action taken in your case, and you are simply awaiting your green card in the mail. Or, you can visit your local USCIS office (likely the same place where your interview was conducted) to process an InfoPass appointment, to request the status of your case, and to potentially obtain an
