  • letter requesting I-693

    Hi,

Irish, married a US citizen. Filed for AOS in late January. Case was received Feb 20th. Did my biometrics March 16th

However, I received a letter dated March 8th stating that I had not submitted my I-693 and that I should take it to the interview whenever that is scheduled. That's fine, I have it now and I will submit it then. I just wanted to know if that letter is considered an RFE and if I should take comfort in knowing they won't ask for more evidence of my bonafide marriage?

    Thank you

no it is not an RFE. On the other hand it is unconnected to evidence of bonafide marriage. The more evidence you have of a bonafide marriage the better. Dont stop collecting until interview and also until ROC. Every and anything that helps you are a true marriage helps. Things like joint gym memberships, pet vaccinations, power of attorney, living will and the like.
