  • NEED HELP!!! Waiting for my I-485 & I-130 approval for more than 2 years

    Hello everyone,

Hope you guy's here will help.
I married my lovely wife who is American Citizen back in 2015. We hired the layer to help us with all documentation and paperwork.
We are in Virginia, Washington DC area.

    Everything started like following:
    - September 9, 2015- "We received your case". *BASED ON i-485*
    - September 9, 2015- "We received your biometrics fee and are reviewing your case". *BASED ON i-485*
    - September 9, 2015- "We received your case". *BASED ON i-130*
    - September 25, 2015- "We need more information from you". *BASED ON i-485*
    - October 9, 2015- "We received your response to our request for more information. Your case is no longer on hold". *BASED ON i-485*
    - October 20, 2015- "We are scheduling your interview", (first interview). *BASED ON i-485*
    - February 18, 2016- "We scheduled your interview". *BASED ON i-485*

    NOTE*
First interview was in April 2016. it was quick, around 20 mins. Month after, they scheduled us for the second interview in May 2016. That time was way looonger, they separate us. Long to be short, officer took some pictures from my wife and told her that he will continue processing everything. Since then nothing.

I applied for my !!!third!!! EAD in 2017:
    - November 2, 2017- "We received your case". *STILL WAITING*

    Guy's what should we do??
Any information would be appreciated from both of us.

    Thank you!

I'd call asking "where my 10-year green card at???". Seriously, the need to step up their game. You should contact your congress person. He/she can definitely help.
Regardless of what the ISO thought of your marriage back then, two years is more than enough time to make a decision. Either approve you or deny you and be done with it.

      All the best.

I did everything my friend. Lawyer is telling me to schedule the info pass minimum two times before I contact the Congressmen or Senator, you know lawyers, they don't care, most of them, just money talks unfortunately. I'm definitely going to contact the Congressman office. Big thanks!
