I?ve read so many different timelines.. some I?ve see as quick as a 6 month turn around.. other are over a year and counting. My attorney filed for me from Los Angeles.. dunno which lock box it got sent to.. when I applied for DACA it was to a Nebraska Service Center.. so I don?t know if it?s the same or a different one... good luck to you all!
      DACA approved: 12/2014

                        June filer also here

                        Hi:

We filed for EAD/AP/AOS early in June. WE did biometrics and yesterday (7/7/2018) received "case is ready to be scheduled for interview". My question is how long will it be to get an interview? We are at NBC still. Thanks

Nice, that's fast. I think the time between your status and interview date depends on the field office and their current case load. What is your field office?
Btw did you submit your I-693 with the rest of your package?

So I'm lost here and I really hope people can answer me.

I'm married to GC holder. F2A category.
My I-130 package was sent out last year and my PD is: 05/22/18- of course case is pending.
I checked the visa bulletin and I was told I could send out the rest of the documents so I sent out my I-485 package with I-765, and other needed forms. It was shown on the tracking that the package was received on 06/25/18 - Chicago lock box. Until now I haven't heard anything, no text, no mail..

Right now I'm on my OPT (my legal visa is still F-1), however my OPT is going to expire on 08/15/18, which is likely a month from now. I wonder which step I will have to take:

1, will I have to continue studying and stay under F-1 until my case gets approved
                            or
2, I can just stay until that day without pursuing my study here (either master or a MS degree)?

Hope somebody can help! Thank you all..

                              F1 Status/ Adjustment of Status

I am an F1 Student as well and we filed my adjustment of status on June 28th, 2017. My husband is a US citizen and my OPT EAD expiration date is on January 2020.

According to USCIS, If they receive your application before your nonimmigrant status expires (or, in exceptional cases, we excuse filing after your status expires due to circumstance beyond your control), and if you have not violated the terms of your status and meet the basic eligibility requirements, you may remain in the U.S. until they make a decision on your application.

Further, once your original nonimmigrant status expires, even though you will generally be allowed to remain in the U.S. while your extension of stay application is pending, you will not be deemed to be in any new nonimmigrant status until such time as they may approve your change of status application. Therefore, you may not be able to engage in employment during this period even if your original nonimmigrant status would have allowed you to do so.

In summation, while your adjustment of status application is pending, you are authorized to remain in the U.S. even if your underlying status expires. Be sure not to travel outside the U.S. until your advance parole document is approved.

I hope this answers your question.
