Ft Myers Filers Waiting FOREVER

My wife filed for her I-485 after we got married. I'm a US citizen and she is from the UK. Our original paperwork was received on August 17, 2017. According to our case status, our paperwork has already been approved and is awaiting interview.........

When we didn't receive anything regarding interview, we pursued the EAD and Travel Authorization. We applied for both of those things on November 17, 2017. We received the Travel Authorization on March 7, 2018 and just received the EAD last week (6/10).

Still nothing on the actual green card interview. We were told that the Ft Myers, FL office (where we live) is backed up significantly. Does anyone have any experience with this?

On January 31st, 2018, The Ft Myers office was processing cases as of 03/28/17. I would think that your interview notice should be coming up soon.
