  • I-797 Approval of AOS

To my shocking just today afternoon I received a mail from USCIS, stating approval letter on my permanent Residence. So I?m confused and happy at same time but main question is !! are they waiving interview now ? For I485 thru K-1 visa. It also state I would be receiving my card within 3 weeks and it will conditional one ☝️ is anyone received approval directly without interview?

    Thank You

Congrats!Your case qualifies for interview waiver because you filed before 04/17/17. Take a look at the first page of this doc. It states " USCIS currently interviews all K-1 adjustment of status applicants whose applications are filed
on or after April 17, 2017."

I am all for interview waivers. Congrats!

For removal of conditions you want to file a solid and very detailed package in order to have the interview waived. Being selected for interview is not a bad thing. That may make it faster.

Your ROC application will take long and you will likely become eligible for citizenship while you wait. Most people go ahead and apply for naturalization .

        All the best,

        USCFFS
