No you do not. If not too busy, they'll most likely let you complete it early. All you need is to take your passport and the biometrics letter you got in the mail.Originally posted by cheklapkok View PostHi,

Did you get your letter? What do they want from you?Originally posted by Udolpho View PostFingers crossed! I will report back once I get the letter.
I received mine yesterday & as expected, they need proof that I am working legally & that my income is from a legal source. My USC wife is in med school so we are using my income in the I-864. I did send all the documents they are requesting in the RFIE now but my mistake was sending one copy with I-485 and not a second copy with I-864. I thought, since I-864 is technically filed with I-485, they would somehow make the connection.... alas not. Anyway, better to have received the yellow letter now than several months down the road I suppose.2018 Marriage-based AOS (I-130, I-485, I-765)

Good idea! Will definitely do that. Thank you!!Originally posted by UScitizenFilingforspouse View PostYou can print that daily email with images as proof that you two get mail at the same address and if you create separate accounts, that's evidence that you have "unrestricted access to each other's mail".

Timeline NYC based AOS (marriage to USC)
This is my timeline so far.
PD and application received at Chicago Lockbox: 13 July
Credit card charged: 16 July
Biometrics notice received (for August 6): July 27
Biometrics done (early walk in): August 1
After that all I see is my I-765 status change to biometrics was received and we are still reviewing your case, but the case status for I-485 hasn't changed at all. Should I be worried?

hpx3000 what?s your previous Non-immigrant visa
My current non-immigrant visa type is F1 and as an F1 holder you are authorized to work legally on campus. I have seen a few instances where F1 visa holders are RFE?d to show that their income was earned legally(which I?m thinking was what happened in your case). My concern is that we also used my (intending migrant )income which constitutes more than 55% of our household income and although I have attached enough evidence to show I was working legally I was/am still anticipating an RFE for the exact same thing .Originally posted by hpx3000 View PostDid you get your letter? Do you think that my documents sufficed or I may have the same RFE as you ?
And can you let me know what your RFE was and what you plan on sending again ?
