I am 22 years old and my wife she is 21. We got married on Oct of 2017 and we've been together since High school to now. I do love my wife with all my heart, and my wife feels the same.

Our main concern is about the interview. We have a lawyer but it's getting us worried on how the Immigration Officer are the one to "judge" if we really love each other. I do love her but I don't want to end up in a bad position if they ask me a question and I get it wrong. Because to be honest I am not perfect, I am sometimes forgetful, we are all humans and my wife knows that. My wife and I are worried that if something goes wrong that I might get deported, we are staying strong and preparing really hard for this interview. I also have to continue to work because I am supporting my wife on her attending college.

Our main concern are these hoping someone can shed some light to us, we live in NJ:
    1) How many tries do we have if we do fail the first one for god knows why? & how many do we get?
    2) Can I reapply for my working permit if I fail the first time?
    3) What are the chances that ICE can deport me?
    4) Do you have a story relating to us?

Even if we do fail I told me lawyer that I want to fight because I think it's not fair how someone can sit there and judge if we love each other. I do love my wife and I read some stories on how a couple failed because Wife said Saturday I cooked Chicken & the husband said Steak. Can you guys give any tips as well? I live with my wife, we have photos, we have a joint bank account, we currently applied for health insurance, on our taxes we did it as married couple, and while working we have our status as Married, we have 2 cars under our name, and Insurance for our vehicles.

    Thanks!

    Thanks!
    Read this tread!

    Don't be overstressed.
Do your homework with all evidences, do not solely rely on your lawyer, he has nothing to lose, you do!
Follow the advice on the thread, Make a list of evidences with explanation what is showing what...

Personally we screwed up a few answers, were approved any way. We did explain why we couldn't answer though, like my hubby doesn't speak same language as my family does and they don't speak english...
From my experience: practice to answer questions, you can find them in internet, and Yes/No for I-485 as well, my habby managed to screw answer to Yes/No question!

    Good Luck!

The interview is not a judgement of if you love one another. It is a judgement of if it is a bonafided marriage. As mentioned the other thread has lots of experiences.

But do not worry about the small stuff, focus on finding true concrete evidence to show a bonafided marriage.

BREATHE!!!! you are over thinking things and are going to stress yourself out so much you're gonna make your poor heart give out. just relax and prepare. you'll be fine. and at your age you've got nothing to lose.
