April filers: do you have any updates? My last update: interview has been scheduled

    April filers: do you have any updates? My last update: interview has been scheduled

    Hello.
    USCIS received my papers on April 13th 2018, marriage based AOS.
    No news on my EAD or AP, but as of today, August 28th, they updated my I 485, saying that my interview has been scheduled and I will receive the notice in the mail.
    Should I call and ask them what the date is or should I wait to get it in the mail?
    Is it even normal to have the interview scheduled before I get my EAD/AP combo?

    Awesome! I'm also April 2018, but no news since May.

    There have been a few cases on the forum were the interview is scheduled before EAD/AP is approved - just means that things moved along quickly! What field office are you?

    As far as I am aware, the notice should arrive in the mail in about a week. I think you can also call and ask to speak to a Tier 2 office who will tell you the date.
    Marriage-based AOS - Concurrent filing - Oakland Park, FL

    04/18/18: Sent to Chicago Lockbox
    04/23/18: Priority Date
    04/27/18: 4x I-797 NOA received
    05/04/18: Biometrics notice received
    05/15/18: Courtesy letter for I-693
    05/22/18: Biometrics completed
    05/29/18: Case Ready To Be Scheduled For Interview
    09/25/18: I-765 New Card being produced (via Case Tracker)
    09/26/18: I-765 and I-131 approved (via uscis.dhs.gov)
    10/01/18: Combo card in hand
    06/05/19: Interview scheduled

      Yay! That?s awesome! My field office is Charlotte as well and my PD is April 14th! But I received a RFIE... so I know that I?ll have to wait a little bit more. Happy for you and happy for seen Charlotte moving.

        PD April 13. No update. It is September and we have almost reached the 5th month mark , yaaayy!! Let?s pray for each other ❤️

          Hey...PD April 13th as well. Hope you get some news soon. I will pray for you

          My interview was scheduled for October 3rd,but still nothing on EAD/AP. If everything goes well, God help us, i might get the GC before the others, which, obviously, I don't even need anymore. My field office is Charlotte,NC.

                      My husband didn?t make enough money on 2017 tax return. They asked for assets or another sponsor. We have together two lands and a house with a pretty good equity so I?ve decided to prove assets. They accept that and today I got the update that interview was scheduled!
