its been 110 days since my receipt notice for my I-765 and there has been no update, i wanted to know exactly how long it takes to get a reply or for an update on my case.

Unfortunately, there is no "exactly how long". It can take as little as one or two months, or as much as....? Some people are hitting 6-7 months.

It used to be safe to say "within 90 days", but that's no longer the case. You can check the processing times table on https://www.uscis.gov/

If you or your family will experience hardship, you may be able to expedite.
