Hey, I'm a march 2018 filer as well. According to USCIS processing times, it takes 11 months from filing to interview in Newark.

We filled Forms<i130, i131, i485, i765, i864 and the Medicine Test

Dates:
01/24/18: Forms were file by mail DHL Express.
01/26/18: PD Documents received at USCIS office.
02/02/18: Received msg from USCIS that our Petitions were accepted and were being transfer to the NBC (Processing)
02/04/18: Got Receipt Notice i797C for all of our forms sent. (Receipt #)
03/02/18: Had Appointment for Biometrics at 10:00 am.
From this date we did not receive any information, notice, nothing. (Patience) April - May - June
07/19/18: Received email and msg that they sent a RFIE from the 16 of July.
07/20/18: Received by mail a letter with Request for Initial Evidence form i485 >Tax 2016 and 2017.
07/21/18: We sent the RFIE.

08/07/18: New Update Case i485> Case is Ready to Schedule Interview.
08/23/18: I call USCIS Office to request information about my EAD document. (Case was still in time processing)
08/24/18: New Update Case i765> New Card is Being Produced.
08/30/18: Confirmation Letter by mail Case form i765 was approved.
09/01/18: I received my SSN by mail.
09/05/18: New Update Case i765> My Card was Mailed to me Mail.
09/07/18: EAD Combo Card Arrived by mail.
09/14/18: New Update Case form i485> AOS or Permanent Residence> Interview was Scheduled from 09/11/18
09/15/18: Received Mail USCIS Office Date of my Interview for 10/31/18 at Newark Office.

During my process I sign up for an account on USCIS My cases to check the progress of my cases, I downloaded a USCIS Case Tracker where I could also follow up the progress of the cases and I used check on uscis.dhs.gov page also. In my case the account and the Case Tracker were the ones that updated on real time.

I hope my experience can help you guys, this is a very long and stress-full process, but with prayers and a lot of positive mind and patience everything will be a better carrying process.

My husband and I will be working now on getting the new documents to add to our original file. God times are perfect.

From my USCIS account I was informed that my biometrics had been reviewed. I receive an email and a text on the status of my 485 and 765 via the case status online function, but before they just showed that cases/fees had been received. I would say it is good to combine both services, but they don't seem to keep up with each other.

Two questions:
1. Given that my case is ready to be scheduled for an interview, can I still receive an RFE?
2. I received an email and a text about my 765 being approved (nothing in the mail), when should I be receiving my EAD?

Njsamesex: RFE Case Ready for Schedule Interview

Hi Njsamesex, once your case is ready to schedule an interview USCIS don?t need any more document from you, I think you only have to wait for the update on the case when the appointment is scheduled.

About the EAD mine arrived like 5 to 7 days after, I?m my case I received the SSN few days before, I recommend you to check your mail everyday before it arrive.

Congrats! It seems they're finally picking up at Newark! You can call USCIS and ask a level 2 officer about the date if you haven't received the notice yet.
Also, what's your priority date? Mine is 03/12 and as of now I'm anxiously waiting for the interview notice lol
