    Fingerprint on early 10/2018
Received medical exam courtesy letter on 1/2019
EAD and AP approval by end of 01/2019
Just received EAD combo card early 02/2019
Received notification about interview was scheduled on 2/8/2019

I am really surprised about the speed, lawyer said I got lucky because it has only been only 6 months since I applied. Now I am patiently waiting for the actual mail about the actual date.
Hmmm.. pretty strange (and fast for New York City office).
How possible NYork Filers in Sep 2018 already receive EAD combo card on Fen 2019???

Hi ArizonaPHX! It's me again please post here after you request your EAD expedited.
I'm an October filer and a couple of weeks after my Biometrics (11/23/2018), I raised a request for EAD expedite. My reason was financial hardship, high medical bills and upcoming medical investigation, plus a job offer. I have a feeling that the person who took my request didn't write my e-mail correctly (even though I've received e-mail from USCIS in the past) because the e-mail with their fax number never came to me. So I called back a few days after the initial call and she gave me the fax no. I faxed the evidence on Dec 14 (the fax machine report stated that the transfer was successful) and since then, pitch black. No response for the expedite, no update on the biometrics, no nothing.
I finally gave up on the expedite request and gave them a call on 01/28 to ask about my biometrics (and the agent said they don't have this information). After that, I asked about my expedite request and I was assigned to a Tier 2 officer. The next day the status on the USCIS account changed to:
    01/28/2019

On January 28, 2019, your request to have your case expedited, referral number T1BxxxxxMSC, was completed.
    01/28/2019

On January 28, 2019, we sent a response to your request to have your case expedited, referral number T1BxxxxxxMSC.
    01/28/2019

On January 28, 2019, your request to have your case expedited, referral number T1BxxxxxMSC, was assigned to an officer for response.
A few days later I received a letter from them saying: "Your expedite case is being processed and you should receive an update shortly." It's been 2 weeks since then...I don't want to call them again.

No, I have seen people that change from fingerprint review to case is ready to schedule for an interview in short time, others it take a lot of time. Some get an interview date soon after they get the status change to ready to schedule, and others stay with that for many many months.

    Interview done

PD 09/18/2018 BOSTON, MA (Same sex Marriage)

    Hi there,

I had my interview done on 02/04/2019.
We arrived at 12:20pm for our 1:15pm interview appointment. The officer called my name and we got into her office together. I noticed that separating couples are for the officer discretion. Many officers were separating couple and others no. We were lucky we got a very nice lady who was very friendly. She started asking my petitioner to present me to her. And then asked my husband to tell her my full name, date of birth, parents name and city of birth then asked me the same about him, we answered right away, then she asked if we have met each other?s parents and we also answered. Never asked us about how we met or anything. She was literally confirming everything that was on the forms like ?you guys got married on July 11th right?? ?Is your phone number still the same 617....? she asked my husband to confirm his employer of which by the time of the interview was not the same anymore, and she updated with the new info and asked his position he said flight attendant and she made a joke saying it was actually good for me cuz now I had the benefit of flying for free! We laughed and she asked if we had any trip we said yes.. after that was just yes and no questions and then she asked if my husband had the letter of the new employer and the paystubs so she could add to the files since was not the same anymore, we handed over. She didn?t look at the picture at all and did not request any documents. At the end she went over my medical exam and the doctor by mistake put a copy in the sealed envelope and not the original. And she couldn?t accept that. She said she couldn?t approve us on the spot because she needed to talk to her supervisor to see if they would accept that copy or if I would have to go back to the doctor and get the original copy. She gave us no paper and just told us to wait for a letter in the mail, in case her supervisor accepts the medical i would receive the green card if not i would receive an RFE requesting the new medical. We thanked her for her time and left with a feeling of missions accomplished. 2 hours later we received a notification for the RFE which is definitely for the medical, and my I-130 updated to ?CASE APPROVED? now we are just waiting for the letter to send the new medical and finally receive the Green card.

    Wish you all good luck.

It means you completed the initial fingerprint review and you have to now wait for the interview to be scheduled. When that is depends on processing time of your field office. Per the USCIS website the West Palm Beach FL average wait time is between 10 and 18 months.
