    Hi guys,

Hi all, I’m a NYC filer. Married to my USC wife, PD Sept. 12, 2018. On February 16th I received my EAD and five days later my interview was scheduled. On April 3rd I went to my interview and all went well. The immigration officer said everything looks great and I should receive my green card in 4-6 weeks. He said that he didn’t receive my DACA applications to review from where they were stored, so that’s why he said 4-6 weeks. So he gave us a white paper saying that they need 120 days to review the case. Well it’s been 3 months now, and no update. I called USCIS and spoke to a level two officer and put in a service request. But that was no help at all because the officer assigned to give a response said in the email that “we regret that we are unable to provide you with a completion date at this time”.
I found it interesting that when I called USCIS the level 1 officer said that they didn’t know my interview was even scheduled.
Im not sure what to do now besides wait ?
Many advice from anyone in a similar situation?
Should I get a lawyer? We did everything on our own.

my case is ready to be schedule since Oct 11 2018 it means 250+ days ago. However I just checked on Case Tracker and Egov.uscis.gov, both said Case is ready to be schedule on June 25 2019. There is no notification or updated sending me. myaccount.uscis.gov still shows Oct 11.
Does it mean there was someone who touched my case or is that just an error from system?

Reading this page: https://www.ssa.gov/ssnumber/ss5doc.htm your GC should be enough but is better to bring 2 IDs (GC and passport or drivers license).

Maybe if you didn't get EAD then the information for SS was not sent. I think you should go to your local SS office to check if they have something. Be prepared to give them the necessary documents.

My husband just got his green card in hand exactly a week after the interview. Interview on 6/12/19 and received green card 6/19/19. Best of luck to all that are still waiting! This forum has been very helpful to me to see other people's timeframe, so thank you to all of you who share your timeframes with the rest of us

I am now living in Richmond, VA with my wife.

    =========================================
20-SEP-2018: PD (sent from Dallas/Fort Worth, TX)
2-OCT-2018: Change of Address AR-11 (moved to Virginia with wife)
    30-OCT-2018: Biometrics done
30-JAN-2019: Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview
15-FEB-2019: Case Was Approved (I-765 approval letter)
    23-FEB-2019: EAD in hand
    5-MAR-2019: SSN in hand

I believe your field office is Norfolk not Fairfax, VA. There was another reader here in this forum that his field office was originally Fairfax, VA, but then he moved to Norfolk and his case was transferred there and he had to wait for the Norfolk field office to schedule his interview. Maybe your case was a little delayed because of your move in October...I have no idea...That reader that I mentioned, his PD was also in September and he had his interview not too long ago, so maybe your case will change online soon. I wish you the best of luck
