Has anyone been to the Los Angeles office for an adjustment of status interview lately? We have ours for my husband next week at 6:45am. Yikes! I am so anxious and nervous especially since the lawyer said they have become more of interrogations than interviews. I am so anxious and its really affecting my work and my kids. Any advice?

No one is going to give you a hard time at 6:45am! You do have to be prepared, though. You will feel more confident if you are over-prepared. Many have found this thread very useful to organize and stage their evidence for the interview. https://www.immihelp.com/forum/showt...737#post582737Originally posted by arbrts View PostHas anyone been to the Los Angeles office for an adjustment of status interview lately? I had my AOS interview at the Los Angeles field office in June last year. It seems they are now opening the office earlier as it opened at 7 AM when I had my interview. There will be a line at the side of the building where people are lining up to enter the building when it opens. There will be security officers there and they will start taking people from the line who have the earliest appointments to form another line to be the first to enter the building. They did this by calling out interview times and asking to see your NOA with the interview details on it. From there you will go to the main entrance where you will pass through a security check where before entering the building, much like an airport screening. I did have to remove my shoes and belt, so you might want to keep that in mind when choosing your footwear for the day.Originally posted by arbrts View PostHas anyone been to the Los Angeles office for an adjustment of status interview lately?
