        • I was even considering scheduling an infopass but it just so happens that Newark Office does not accept Infopass. Because I mean... why trying to help people that have been waiting for more than 6 months...

By the way I read somewhere else this post. I think October filers might find it useful (I hope it pastes completely)

          Hey Octobears,

I couldn't bear another day (Day 202) of not knowing where I stand with the EAD/AP situation - so I gave a call to USCIS today to speak to a Tier 2 agent. Spoke with someone today and was told that nothing had been touched on my case since Nov last year! He said that there was a huge backlog at NBC for EAD and AP's and that the last time someone called in he was advised to give the Ombudsman number, especially as I'm still within 'Normal Processing Times', even though I'm about a week away from being outside Normal Processing Times now. He understood my frustration and gave me the Ombudsman number. I proceeded to call the Ombudsman [(202) 357-8100] and they told me just to fill out a form online ( https://cisomb.dhs.gov/oca/form7001.aspx ) - which I have done but don't know if it's gone through as I've yet to receive a confirmation email. [It apparently doesn't work on Chrome or Firefox and you have to use Internet Explorer? - But I managed to work it on Chrome, if I don't receive any confirmation by tomorrow, will re-submit after re-downloading Internet Explorer...]

I am not sure if this will help anyone else, but if it does, glad to pass on the information - I know we are all going stir crazy in waiting. Here's to more approvals this week and some solid responses to everyone whose sent in a case inquiry or RFE/RFIE!

            You're so nice.

I looked into the form and seems like we have to wait until it's out of normal processing time, which has just been updated to from 5 to 7 months for EAD . This wait is so frustrating, I never thought it'd be this bad.

            • Finally today received my EAD cards (with travel endorsement on the card)

              Here is my timeline.

Concurrent filing i-485, I-765, I-131 in California (employment based)

              • Congrats yerzurc!

My wife and I just had our interview on Monday, April 22 and although our officer didn't say we got approved at the interview, but we received a "New Card Is Being Produced" notification on Tuesday, April 23 and a "Card Was Mailed To Me" notification today on April 25th. We are so happy right now and could not wait till we get our green card!

At the interview, we weren't asked that many questions. Most of the questions were directed at my wife and reaffirming what was answered on the I-485 questionnaires. Then again, we showed up with over a hundred pictures and a binder full of documents.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
                10/8/18 - Mailed I-130, I-130A, I-465, I-864 and I-693 via FedEx
10/10/18 - Received notification from FedEx package has been delivered.

I think it's just the date you look at it. They basically tell you that's it's most up to date update, not that they touched it. When I look, it's always the date of the day I look.

The other dates for i765, i130 and i131 are still showing as 11/1/2018 and those dates have never changed since i filed. the i485 date changed a few times, once when I changed address and then once when it went to ready to be scheduled for interview. Then yesterday it changed. (The other website myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov, does show the date you look at it and that changes constantly when you log in to check). So I feel something could be happening...fingers crossed.

                      • I've been trying to reach T2 representative for 2 days now and both T1 representatives I talked with told me all T2s were unavailable at the time and to call back the next day.
What's your experience with getting though to T2 representatives? Should I call them again Monday?
