Apparently we are the only two here filing under the CAA. I thought our cases were sent to a different processing center. Another CAA filer in a different forum said that his process from start to finish was only 3 months(started process after January 2016) , and I was hopeful, but then a friend from Miami waited 1 year for her case to be approved (started process before January 2016).
Good luck!!!

Info on the validity of any Form I-693 submitted to USCIS before November 1, 2018 can be found in the policy manual here -- https://www.uscis.gov/policymanual/H...pter4.html#S-A
Looks like this will cover SOME current processing cases and not just new ones. Anyone waiting for interview for 1+ year that filed medical exam with original filing won't have to get a new medical done as long as the civil surgeon signed the form within 60 days of filing!
This change goes in to effect November 1, 2018. So I believe anyone with interviews between now and then will still need a new I-639 if they submitted over 1 year ago (which is my case, go figure).

This is great news, I filed mine all together, and NYC wait times are very long! Nice to see USCIS streamlining the processOriginally posted by doubledown View PostInfo on the validity of any Form I-693 submitted to USCIS before November 1, 2018 can be found in the policy manual here -- https://www.uscis.gov/policymanual/H...pter4.html#S-A

So, if i'm not mistaken, this goes for ANYBODY who's applied already, did the medical AFTER sending application package and is STILL waiting for interview, right?Originally posted by doubledown View PostInfo on the validity of any Form I-693 submitted to USCIS before November 1, 2018 can be found in the policy manual here -- https://www.uscis.gov/policymanual/H...pter4.html#S-A
