... but now , i wanted to ask, after my interview yesterday , we were approved on the spot and my online status changed about an hour after we left the office to ? new card is being produced?. My current EAD expires Nov 16th, the IO officer told me, my card would arrive about two weeks, in the meantime i applied for renewal of my EAD, before I got my interview letter, so Im really close- want to make sure, I will have my green card before EAD expires ( the renewal might take longer). Anyone has an experience as to, how long they waited for their GC to arrive in the mail please?

We already know that no one case is ever the same. While someone telling you that their card came in 4 days from update, some may say 4 weeks. Another perosn?s experience can either give you hope and make you lose hope. You?ve come far enough, enjoy !C9 Spouse of USC

Once your status changes to "New Card is being produced", it takes a good 2 days for the green card to physically leave the USCIS production facility. Soon it will change to "Card is being mailed. That does not mean it has left the building. Then, "Card was picked up by USPS". That update should come with a tracking number.Originally posted by Dreamerdancer42 View Post... but now , i wanted to ask, after my interview yesterday , we were approved on the spot and my online status changed about an hour after we left the office to ? new card is being produced?. If you do have USPS informed delivery, this would be a good time to sign up for it.

Though, being so overly prepared likely showered you with confidence and allowed your personalities and chemistry of your marriage to come through.
It would be great for others in a similar situation to see your Table of contents. I know it's a lot to ask, but if you have time, would you please de-identify it and post it here? I will then move it to the list of resources on this thread. https://www.immihelp.com/forum/showt...326#post585326

The going rate for delivery of a green card is between 2-4 weeks normally, so hopefully you'll get it sooner. But congratulations!!! Enjoy your new residency Status and all the benefits that come with it!Originally posted by Dreamerdancer42 View Post... but now , i wanted to ask, after my interview yesterday , we were approved on the spot and my online status changed about an hour after we left the office to ? new card is being produced?. Thank u! No its not the EAD, its DL that they only extend with valid EAD or GC, that is my problem. But i think itll be right on time. Basically, they renewed my DL with the EAD only untill the EAD is valid.. so its the same expiration date.Originally posted by Rickyboy06 View PostCongratulations!! Thank u for the detailed answer, always can count on detailed answer from u! Thats great! I will try to summarize the whole experience and put it here. Im not sure, Im the perfect example, we didnt have the key things you try to stress on here to have , we are just by common sense real . In fact most of my evidence our IO didnt even look at. Oh- my husband did flirt with me in that building quite visibly - maybe that helped too.Originally posted by UScitizenFilingforspouse View PostOnce your status changes to "New Card is being produced", it takes a good 2 days for the green card to physically leave the USCIS production facility.
