Help! USCIS sent the papers back

Hi, We finally made it!
we send the papers on January 14th.
We checked twice to see if everything was ok. We sent the package .
But yesterday I got mail
It says that the payment amount is incorrect
But we sent 1225 for both form I-485 and biometric services
We also sent form I-130 but I guess if I fill I-130 together I don?t need to pay or make another check..
I?m really confused
When I went online to check my status there says that my case was rejected because It?s was improperly filed.
Do I need to send more money
My forms are ok?
Do I need to fill and print everything again ?
Or I can use the same sheets in the package
I don?t know. it has lines with numbers at the bottom of every page.

the cost of an adjustment of status is a minimum of $1,225 in government fees alone. This includes the initial $1,140 filing cost of the I-485 application and the $85 biometrics fee, both of which are paid for with a single check or money order when filing the application.

The cost for the form I-485 and biometric services is $1225, but you still have to pay also for the I-130 $535. (Or where do you read that if filed together you don't have to pay?).

At least it was what we did.... We sent 2 checks: $535 and $1225 with the forms.

If the forms has already lines with numbers at the bottom, I would send a new ones, but that is only my opinion.

Form I-131 (and I-765) are "free" if you file with I-485, as previous poster said I-130 has a fee too.

It sounds like you didn't pay $535 for your I-130 form. This form is not free. Did you check out the fee calculator? Use that to calculate the fees that you need to pay. https://www.uscis.gov/feecalculator
Assuming that you filed I-485, I-130, I-175, I-131, your fee summary should be as followed:

I-485: $1,140
I-130: $535
I-131: $0 (if filed with pending I-485)
I-175: $0 (if filed with pending I-485)
Biometrics: $85
Total: $1,760

That was the total amount of fees that we paid by in August 2018 when we filed. I would recommend write 3 separate checks for each fee to avoid confusion. That's what we did.
