Is it ok to change jobs with I-140 approved (EB1-B) and AOS interview concluded but with pending Green Card?
My current company filed my I-140 in EB1-B category in February, 2018 with premium processing. I-140 was approved in 2 weeks. They then applied for my I-485 in March, 2018. My AOS interview was completed in early October, 2018. Everything went well in interview. But I was told I have to wait until final action date advances up to February, 2018 to get Green Card.
1) I am expecting a job offer from another company based in California in the next few weeks. Can I change jobs at this stage, without adverse effect on my Green Card petition?
2) Will I have to appear for another AOS interview if I invoke AC21 to change jobs at this stage?
3) Will I have to just ask my new company lawyers to file I-485J to comply with immigration requirements?
