      • Getting so frustrated. Seems like everyone is getting their interview or the green card already. Is it because we are Newark office? My daughter is a USC and sponsored us, we came to the US from Canada on a TN. Lawyer said we should have our card a year from our filing (March 12) and we haven't even been scheduled for an interview. Our medical forms will expire at the beginning of March. Really hate having to pay for that again.

I think around March 5th or something, We filed on March 11th, so the medical forms were signed a few days before.

            • Our interview was 1/28/2020. After leaving the building I checked the status and it changed to New Card Being Produced. Today my status for i485 and i130 changed to Approved. My PD was 3/8/2019. Now we will wait for the card in the mail and worry about removing conditions in the months or 2 years to come.

                • Sorry about the silence. Been busy.

This is the summary of my journey so far:
The signature section is short so this post will be more detailed.

                  March 2019 Filer B2, 131/131A, 765, 485, 693, 864, G1145 - Houston Filer
03/13/19 - Fedex confirms delivery. Chicago 3rd Fl.

                  01/10 - Interview/Approved (same day)
Interview: I'd say the interview was simple but i will add that you CANT be over prepared for it. Take everything you can. The officer only asked for 5 pictures of the very many we had. We were both asked to describe each other's family members. We were even asked details about our apartment. The questions seemed basic but i can imagine how it could help prove bonafides. FOLLOW THE OFFICER'S INSTRUCTIONS: DO NOT HELP EACH OTHER WITH ANSWERS!

                  1/15 - Card was Mailed
                  1/18 - GC in hand (CR6-2years)

                  • Is anyone still waiting for an interview?? I’m going crazy, reading on the experiences forums, people that filed way after us already have their GCs. I think our case must be in a black hole somewhere.

I had my interview on Mar 17.( day before they closed for COVID-19) I went in, and as I was waiting, I was told they don’t have my file and my interview will have to be canceled and rescheduled. Without further instruction and explanation the person at the counter walked away. It was so disappointing after waiting a so long this happened, and I am so confused as to why did they found out about the missing file on the day of interview, don’t they look at it ahead of time before the interview.

I contacted USCIS, but was told I have to wait for interview to be rescheduled. I sent in a inquiry asking where my file is and it’s been Almost 3 weeks and I haven’t heard anything so far.

                        stay safe.
