  • I-485 interview scheduled BEFORE EAD Approval .. is it possible?

    Hi everybody.

I would like to share my case.

I'm an Italian Citizen married with an American Citizen since March 2016. She was born in Italy but my Mother in law is from NY. She applied for Citizenship and obtained her N-600 Certificate last September 2018.
Than we decided to apply for my Green Card.

I have been the owner of 2 L1-Blanket Visa. the first one from 2008 to 2013, the second one from 2015 to 2022 (revoked because I decided to leave my company on 2018). My last enter (I-94) has been with a B1/B2 Visa

I submitted all the papers (I-130/I-131/I-485/I-765) on 02/08/2019.
reading the posts in the forum, I was imaging to have, in the best case and in a perfect world, the EAD/AP approved by May (combo Card), and GC by the end of the year.
but yesterday (3/14), my I-485 Status has been changed " On March 14, 2019, we scheduled an interview for your Form I-485...".
I already did the Biometrics appointment, and medical exam results form, I-693 (both two weeks ago).

I did not received yet the mail with the data of the interview (it's on the way) but i expect to have the interview by the end of the next month.
it could means that I could be approved for GC before the 90 days I expecting for EAD/AP Combo card.

my I-485 is in charge to Railegh/Durham Office (North Carolina), all the other papers are in charge to MSCxxxxxxxxxx.

there is anyone with same experience?

    thank you all.
