Adjustment of Status

I filed my I-485 in december 2005, my case was transferred to CSC on June 9 Its been more than 4 months I have no news from them. After inquiring I found out that my background check have not come back. Is it pretty normal. What should I do?

Unfortunately, it is. The background check can take really long some times. My advice is to write ( not call!) eevry couple months and inquire whta happening. that usually trigger some action
