any receipts from USCIS

Did anyone get any receipt from USCIS for I-485 filing, after their big fiasco this month. I am personally frustated with their incompetenence. Please share your thoughts on this.

I filed my 485 in July first week. no receipts yet, i think it's going to take a while (2-3 months). Issueing receipts to half million applicants is not going to be easy for USCIS. a lot of June filers have not got the receipts yet.
